What is your used car really worth?

Learn how age, kilometres, demand, ownership, condition, location and service records determine a fair used-car valuation in India.

Market value is not one fixed number

A valuation is a range shaped by model demand, registration year, variant, fuel, transmission, location and the number of comparable cars currently available. The original invoice is useful context, not today’s selling price.

Condition changes confidence

A clean service history, healthy tyres, working electronics and transparent repair records reduce uncertainty. Buyers often discount more heavily when information is missing than when a repair is explained honestly.

Prepare before inspection

Collect the RC, insurance, service invoices, spare key and loan-closure documents. Clean the car and resolve safety or warning-light issues. Expensive cosmetic work may not return its full cost, so repair selectively.

Compare like with like

Compare the same model year, variant, fuel and transmission in the same region. Dealer retail prices, exchange offers and direct-sale values differ because the services and risk included are different.

Important: Vehicle condition, finance and RTO requirements vary. Verify the specific car, lender terms and applicable government process before committing.
